Social Monkee is one of our favorite traffic sites. It has some benefit for generating direct traffic but for the most part, it is an excellent source of backlinks for SEO and helps to increase your website’s search engine ranking. The background to this great free backlink program is very simple.

The guys who own Social Monkee created their own social bookmarking network. They started with 100 sites that they set up on different C class servers (this is very important from an SEO perspective) and made them all DoFollow. Members sign-up for free and can submit one url per day that is promoted with spun titles, descriptions and tags (takes less than 5 minutes each day), providing 25 high quality, contextual backlinks. Cool!

By referring other members, people can progress to pro status where the number of bookmarks is increased to 100 DoFollow social bookmarks, three times a day. As with any site that claims to deliver free website traffic, we start out looking at it with a skeptical eye. So many of these free traffic programs promise so much and deliver so little. However, the Free Traffic System is actually a free traffic program that delivers more than it promises.

The system is based on a private blog network that is both authoritative (many blogs on the network have a high PageRank) and well maintained. Each member can write and submit unlimited unique articles (these get spun in the system) that are distributed to up to 50 blogs on the network (submission is by targeted category).
